Digital Services for Home Financing Customers
With the new service portal "My Home Financing", DZ HYP expands its digital offering for private customers as well as advisors and intermediaries in the banking environment. The goal was to provide important information and services around ongoing home financing digitally, clearly and in a user-friendly way.
Technical Implementation of the Service Portal
FUSE took on the complete technical implementation of the platform's first stage. The service portal was hosted together with the existing website dzhyp.de and is accessible via the subdomain baufi.dzhyp.de. The technical foundation is the TYPO3 content management system.
FUSE's services included the implementation in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the implementation and configuration of TYPO3, as well as close technical consulting throughout the entire project. The project started on October 22, 2024, and was successfully completed on schedule for the go-live on April 10, 2025.
The service portal offers users various features: PDF applications and checklists for adjusting financing data, a blog with articles on "financial knowledge for your real estate decisions", as well as answers to frequently asked questions about home financing. The PDFs are used as an interim solution until the fully digital processes are completed in the near future.
The technical setup guarantees user-friendly operation and reliable delivery of content – for end customers as well as for intermediaries.
A Strong Result and Next Steps
The client was very satisfied with the result and particularly highlighted FUSE's flexibility and reliability. Personal, positive feedback came directly from Marcel Martin, the project lead at DZ HYP.
The current service portal laid the first milestone of a more comprehensive platform. In the coming weeks, digital application processes and online calculators will be added.
