The Challenge

Corporate Website for an International Institution

Gateway to the Public and a Protected Professional Area

The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, based in Hamburg, has been operating as an independent organization within the UN system since 1982. Besides the redesign and a new structure, the relaunch also included numerous new features for the various target groups.
Due to legal requirements, the bilingually designed website also has to provide a large number of different documents in a clear and organized way. The focus was also on the high security requirements for the backend, the login-protected area for the judges, an extensive search function, and the responsive display of the website.

The Implementation

Communication with Different Target Groups

FUSE developed a modern layout – professional, clear and high-quality. The new navigation concept and restructuring make it easier to access the content and convey the core topics of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea through striking visuals.

A complex search function, full responsiveness and the use of the latest TYPO3 version for content maintenance round off the development of the new website. Users and clients are delighted: the new website received widespread praise on social networks.
