Staging a New Company Location as an Expression of Innovation and Culture
For Merck Serono, a corporate film was to be created that not only presents the new headquarters in Geneva architecturally, but brings it to life as a visible expression of the company's values. The focus was on translating themes such as innovation, research, exchange and sustainability into an understandable and emotional visual language. The new building was meant to be conveyed not just as a building, but as a symbol of the company's goals and identity.
A film that connects architecture, corporate culture and sustainability
The film guides viewers through Merck Serono's new headquarters and shows how form, function and ecology work together at this location. Among other things, it shows the forum as a central meeting point, the open connection between administration and research, as well as the architectural design in steel and glass that fosters exchange and collaboration.
Special attention is also given to staging defining elements of the building, such as the large-scale media wall "Layers of Life", which combines technology, art and architecture. This is complemented by showing sustainable building functions such as natural lighting as well as the cooling and heating system using water from Lake Geneva. The result is a corporate film that positions the location as a modern, inspiring and ecologically considered company headquarters.
