Making a Specialist Symposium Visible on Film and Communicable Long-Term
For the 1st Hamburg Hygiene Symposium, an event video was to be created that convincingly conveys the relevance of the event, its content diversity and the dynamics on site. The symposium took place on September 11, 2025 at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and was initiated by the innovation network HIHeal next level together with UKE's Hospital Hygiene division. The goal of the film was to capture the key impressions and voices of the day so that the event's messages remain effective beyond the event itself.
FUSE accompanied the symposium with an event video that combines statements from participants with the highlights of the event. The focus was on authentic scenes, cinematic closeness and a strong visual language to make both the professional exchange and the social relevance of the topic visible. The program included keynote talks, case studies, pro-and-con discussions, and various opportunities for personal exchange.
The result is a film that not only conveys the atmosphere of the symposium, but also underscores the event's central message: hospital infections remain a major challenge, and new impulses as well as practical solutions are needed for effective infection prevention in everyday clinical practice.
