Medical Specialist App - DGPPN

The Challenge

App for Physicians and Therapists

Access to Expert Knowledge and Guidelines

Psychiatrists, physicians and therapists need uncomplicated yet reliable access to expert knowledge and concrete guidelines in their everyday clinical work. For this purpose, FUSE developed an app for the German Society for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Psychosomatics and Neurology (DGPPN).

The Implementation

App Supports Professionals in Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics

For emergencies, the app provides an overview of various specialty-specific and cross-specialty emergencies. The content ranges from immediate measures to treatment recommendations and referral criteria.

Under the heading Knowledge & Guidelines, users can find, among other things, a glossary of different disorders with extensive background information as well as the current guidelines.
The app also offers the opportunity for further education. On the integrated interactive learning platform, users can test and improve their own knowledge.

The Participation Compass section contains extensive information on the professional rehabilitation and integration of patients after or during an illness.

As an additional extra, the app provides a directory of portals for in-depth content, as well as tables and calculators, for example to calculate blood alcohol levels.

With the app, DGPPN gives practitioners a helpful tool for their daily practice.
